We all interact with the environment constantly, whether we are thinking about it or not. These interactions affect quality of life, years of healthy life lived, and health disparities. “Environmental Health” consists of preventing or controlling disease, injury, and disability related to the interactions between people and their environment.

It is our goal to promote a healthy living environment for everyone in our community.  That’s why we offer a variety of services surrounding community member’s environmental health needs.  Services such as water testing, radon testing, lead based paint information, etc.  Please see the respective tabs for more information on environmental health or visit the Healthy People 2020 website.
