Wisconsin Well Woman Program

Providing women with preventative breast and cervical cancer screenings can reduce death rates from these cancers by finding a precancerous abnormality or by finding cancer at an early stage, before symptoms appear, and when it can be treated more easily.

The Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP) provides certain breast and cervical cancer screening services (mammograms, Pap tests, etc.) at no cost to uninsured or underinsured women, ages 40-64 that meet income guidelines. Women age 35 to 39 with breast symptoms or concerns may also be eligible. There is no premium, co-payment, or deductible for the WWWP. Covered services are available from participating health care providers when enrolled in the program.  A WWWP client diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible to enroll in Well Woman Medicaid to have the cost of that cancer treatment covered.

For more information, please visit the Wisconsin Well Woman Program website.

Women interested in applying for WWWP can contact Venette Tess, at 715-369-6119 or [email protected].
