Immunization

Immunizations help to keep all residents healthy

Immunizations help keep ALL residents of Oneida County healthy.  The Oneida County Health Department strives to provide education and help reduce or eliminate preventable diseases.  We can provide immunizations to both children and adults, some restrictions may apply (please see our current fee schedule for pricing or contact us directly for more information).

Immunization programs across the county strive to reduce or eliminate vaccine preventable diseases. The health department contributes to this goal through community education, vaccine administration, and monitoring immunization rates. The immunization program promotes and provides adult and childhood immunizations in both Rhinelander and Minocqua to assure that community members have access to this essential preventive care service. The Immunization Program has three main initiatives, childhood immunizations, the HPV vaccine, and adult immunizations focusing on the pneumonia series.

Contact your health care provider or the health department (715-369-6111) for more information on vaccines, communicable diseases or to schedule an appointment for immunizations.
