It is important to prevent loss of health and life, and promote quick recovery from events and disasters that interrupt day-to-day life. It is for these reasons that OCHD works tirelessly with hospitals and clinics, emergency management, emergency medical services, and the whole community to be ready for if and when a disaster strikes. OCHD encourages its community to prepare for emergencies.
